Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell, born on the 27th of March, 1970 in the city of New York at a height of 5'9", is a famous American actress. Her credits includes the role of Dr. Juliet Burke from ABC Television's Lost series and FBI Agent Erica Evans for V. The Escape Clause and Gia. Mitchell is co-starring with Eric Kripke in the television show Revolution that airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell is her stepfather. Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins), her mother is a lawyer from Dallas. Mitchell along with her mother, and their two children relocated from New York in Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother was married in the year 1975. Mitchell was a student at Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas, TX. The school is a private Magnet School. Mitchell is the oldest of three sisters, her two sisters are Kristina Kristie Mitchell (the youngest) Mitchell and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991, she graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and she was also enrolled at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a year in the Encore Theater. She currently is known for her role as the role of Special Agent Emily Prentiss on the CBS crime-drama Criminal Minds. The character of Brewster was removed from the show in March 2011. was removed from the show, but she could return at a later date.
